Halloween 2012

This year I went to Carnaval in West Hollywood (for the first time – what!) as Titania from A Midsummer Night’s Dream accompanied by my friend Demetrius who went as Puck.  I loved my costume, but if I’m going to be honest, I probably wasn’t the best fairy queen.  In hindsight, I should have had a wand or wings, or something.  My main focus was the mask.  I saw the mask, I loved the mask and then so tried to come up with a character to fit the mask.  I don’t know if that’s the right approach, but that’s what happened.  I also like tutus, so I decided to incorporate one of those.  So there.  That’s the story of my costume for 2012.  Next year, I might incorporate some more substantial outerwear… West Hollywood gets cold at midnight or so.  The End.
